Hey guys,
I love seeying all the pretty art the people on my watch list submit.
Only there has been a tiny thing bugging me. I just kinda don't like it to have almost every deviation pop up twice cuz it's also submitted here.
I thought that here in the paintchat club we would be submitting work which was only made in pchat. :T
(since yeah that would be the use of the name "paintchat club")
Or was I getting it totally wrong? I know that people like the extra publicity and it reaches farther, but yeah... It's just kinda weird.
Well just my opinion, what do you guys think?

Anybody can join. Joining is automatically approved. Click join. Tell your friends to click join. Hell, click join for your friends- they don't know what they're doing.
Though we do offer automatic membership and aren't too fussed on cracking the whip at less active users, we do like it when most members have at least one thing submitted to the gallery- so please respect that.

I trust everybody had a pretty swell new years? Swell.
We're at the point where we've almost hit 2 000 views and a combined number of over 300 watchers and members! The growth has been awesome- keep it up!
Anyway there's a few changes that were made around here-
Most importantly is that now you guys can make Journal entries! This is basically for people who're organizing community events such as a collaboration or secret santa or the like.
So- have fun with that. Derp.

ok. just had a check through the gallery and discussed with the others.
everything here is either made and completed in paintchat, and/or retouched/continued in other painting programs. The relevance of the works to paintchat remains, and as long as there is a connection between these artworks and paintchat, then it should be fine.
The only exceptions i can see in the gallery/featured are
*thepaintchatclub's kiriban, and
*secret santa submissions.
if there is anything you need to sort out, feel free to ask again.
